On September 29, the first part of the serial exhibitions on the Maritime Silk Road: Longquan Celadon on the Maritime Silk Road opened at Hall 8 of the China (Hainan) Museum of the South China Sea. A total of 253 pieces/sets of Longquan celadon from 11 domestic museums including the Capital Museum, Zhejiang Provincial Museum and the Museum of Folk Art are displayed in Hainan for the first time, presenting the cultural charm of Longquan celadon to the audience.
The exhibition is one of a series of exhibitions on the Maritime Silk Road and will last for three months. It is divided into three parts: "Celadon departing Longquan", "Celadon travelling afar" and "Celadon from the past to the present", recreating the long voyages of Longquan Celadon in the Age of Discovery.
