The cultural relics exhibition Morocco Through the Ages recently opened at the Moroccan Museum of History and Civilizations. Nearly 450 pieces of Moroccan relics are displayed in the exhibition, which will last until January 30, 2021.
The oldest exhibits can be dated back to the time of Paleolithic Acheulian civilization, including skulls of Homo sapiens 310,000 years ago. By displaying relics from various civilizations, such as bronzes, ceramics, marbles from the Roman period and gold coins from the Islamic period, the exhibition tries to demonstrate the evolution and integration of human civilizations. In the courtyard of the museum, a series of stone artifacts are exhibited, such as rock art, Libyan and Latin inscriptions and Islamic tomb paintings.
